What You Will Do
- Examine community fire and emergency mitigation, planning, protection, response, and recovery, including community outreach and interorganizational coordination
- Analyze the systems approach to building fire protection and the process of designing fire protection systems for specific hazards and situations
- Explain the components of community risk reduction and develop a comprehensive community risk reduction plan
- Compare community intervention strategies designed to reduce risk and help protect lives, resources, and property
